Why “Kalpiko”?
The root is the Sanskrit kalpana — the act of imagining, forming, inventing. It’s the moment before a thing exists, when it’s still just an idea worth building well.
“Kalpiko” itself is a coined word — an invented name for a studio whose whole job is to invent. It doesn’t mean anything yet. That’s the point: it means whatever we make of it.
