A Discover tab lets you browse curated lists (beginner, pet-safe, low-light, flowering) without scanning. Everything stays on your device, and the single photo used for identification is never stored or linked to you.

Where do my photos go?
They stay on your device; only the one identification photo is sent to the plant-ID service and isn’t stored.
Why did it call my fake plant real?
A photo can’t always tell a good faux plant from a real one — tap the Real/Faux toggle on the card and we’ll skip watering reminders for décor.
Is the first scan really free?
Yes, always.
A note on limits: artificial-plant detection from a single photo is imperfect — the Real/Faux toggle is the reliable control. Identification accuracy varies with photo quality and uncommon species, and reminders are local notifications (no cloud sync) in this first version.
