Agreement
Paperly is provided by Kalpiko Labs, a one-person indie app studio. By downloading or using Paperly, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please don’t use the app. These terms apply only to the Paperly mobile app for iOS and Android.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Paperly on devices you own or control, for your own personal use. You may not rent, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app.
Free operations
Paperly is free to try with 3 operations (lifetime, across all tools). There is no free trial — those 3 free operations act as the trial. To go unlimited, you can subscribe or buy the one-time Lifetime unlock, as described below.
Subscriptions & purchases
Unlocking unlimited use gives you: All PDF & image tools • Unlimited operations • On-device OCR • Nothing ever uploaded • No ads, ever. The plans and prices below are the same on iOS and Android and match what you see on the in-app purchase screen:
- Monthly — $2.99 (
paperly_monthly_299), billed monthly. - Yearly — $11.99 (
paperly_yearly_1199), badge “Best value · ~$1/mo”. - Lifetime — $19.99 one-time (
paperly_lifetime_1999) — the hero offer, no subscription.
No free trial. The Monthly and Yearly plans are auto-renewing subscriptions: unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically and your payment method is charged $2.99/month (Monthly) or $11.99/year (Yearly), continuing each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current period. The Lifetime unlock is a one-time payment with no auto-renewal and nothing to cancel.
All purchases are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Previously purchased items can be brought back with Restore purchases. Prices are charged in your local currency and may vary by region and over time; the exact price is always shown on the purchase screen before you confirm. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by Kalpiko Labs — see our Support page for how to request one.
Privacy & on-device processing
Paperly processes every file entirely on your device — nothing is ever uploaded, there is no account, and there are no ads. Paperly’s unlock feature requires the password you already know; Paperly never cracks or bypasses PDF protection. For full details, see the Paperly Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Please use Paperly lawfully and reasonably. You agree not to misuse or abuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract its source code, interfere with its normal operation, use it to infringe others’ rights, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
Paperly, including its name, design, code, and content, is owned by Kalpiko Labs and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The license above does not transfer any ownership rights to you. The documents and images you create or process with the app remain yours.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Paperly is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or correct for a particular file. Keep your own backups of important documents before processing them.
To the extent permitted by law, Kalpiko Labs will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including any lost or corrupted file. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Paperly in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Paperly at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your license if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and governing law — continue to apply after termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of the place where the developer is established.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be noted in the app. Continuing to use Paperly after an update means you accept the revised terms.
