Agreement
Sprout is provided by Kalpiko Labs, a one-person indie app studio. By downloading or using Sprout, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please don’t use the app. These terms apply only to the Sprout mobile app for iOS and Android.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Sprout on devices you own or control, for your own personal use. You may not rent, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app.
Subscriptions & purchases
Sprout is free to start: the free tier includes 3 plant scans total (lifetime), unlimited Discover, and watering reminders for those 3 plants. An optional subscription unlocks more, as shown on the in-app paywall:

7-day free trial, then your plan renews automatically. Cancel anytime. The free trial is available on both the Monthly and Yearly plans.
Prices are charged in your local currency and may vary by region and over time; the exact price and trial terms are always shown on the purchase screen before you confirm.
All purchases are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Manage or cancel in your store account settings. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends; cancelling at least 24 hours before the period ends stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by Kalpiko Labs. See our Support page for how to request one.
Acceptable use
Please use Sprout lawfully and reasonably. You agree not to misuse or abuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract its source code, interfere with its normal operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose. Plant identification and care information are provided for general guidance only and may not always be accurate.
Intellectual property
Sprout, including its name, design, code, and content, is owned by Kalpiko Labs and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The license above does not transfer any ownership rights to you. Content you create with the app remains yours.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Sprout is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We work hard to make it reliable and its plant guidance helpful, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or correct for a particular plant or situation.
To the extent permitted by law, Kalpiko Labs will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Sprout in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Sprout at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your license if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and governing law — continue to apply after termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be noted in the app. Continuing to use Sprout after an update means you accept the revised terms.
