Agreement
Unpile is provided by Kalpiko Labs, a one-person indie app studio. By downloading or using Unpile, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please don’t use the app. These terms apply only to the Unpile mobile app for iOS and Android.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Unpile on devices you own or control, for your own personal use. You may not rent, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app.
Free tier
You can use Unpile for free, with no trial and no payment, for 3 completed piles total (lifetime). To keep going beyond that, you can start a subscription with a free trial or make a one-time Lifetime purchase, as described below.
Subscriptions & purchases
Unpile offers two subscription plans and a one-time Lifetime purchase. The plans, prices, trial, and renewal terms below match exactly what you see on the in-app purchase screen:
- Yearly $39.99 — Best value · ≈$3.33/mo. Includes a 7-day free trial. CTA: “Start 7-day free trial.” After the trial: “Then $39.99/yr · cancel anytime.”
- Monthly $6.99 — billed monthly. Includes a 7-day free trial. CTA: “Start 7-day free trial.” After the trial: “Then $6.99/mo · cancel anytime.”
- Lifetime $79.99 — No subscription. CTA: “Buy lifetime.” “One-time payment · yours forever.” The Lifetime purchase has no trial.
A paid plan unlocks: “Unlimited piles — never hit a wall mid-momentum • Companion styles & names to make them yours • Your full Wins history, kept forever • Gentle smart nudges, only when they help.”
Free trial and renewal. The 7-day free trial applies to the Monthly and Yearly plans. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically renews and your payment method is charged the plan price — $6.99/month (Monthly) or $39.99/year (Yearly) — and it continues to renew each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current period. The Lifetime purchase is a one-time payment with no auto-renewal and nothing to cancel.
All purchases are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Previously purchased items can be brought back with Restore purchases. Prices are charged in your local currency and may vary by region and over time; the exact price and terms are always shown on the purchase screen before you confirm. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by Kalpiko Labs — see our Support page for how to request one.
Not medical advice
Unpile is a focus and decluttering tool designed to be friendly to ADHD brains. It is not a medical or ADHD treatment app: it does not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical advice for any condition. Nothing in the app should be taken as medical or mental- health advice.
Acceptable use
Please use Unpile lawfully and reasonably. You agree not to misuse or abuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract its source code, interfere with its normal operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
Unpile, including its name, design, code, and content, is owned by Kalpiko Labs and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The license above does not transfer any ownership rights to you. Photos and content you create with the app remain yours.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Unpile is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We work hard to make it reliable, but the AI mission breakdown depends on photo clarity, and we can’t promise the app will always be available, error-free, or right for a particular task.
To the extent permitted by law, Kalpiko Labs will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Unpile in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Unpile at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your license if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and governing law — continue to apply after termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of the place where the developer is established.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be noted in the app. Continuing to use Unpile after an update means you accept the revised terms.
